Over the coming months, our director Carrie, is going to be spending time at Wakelyns, creating new ideas for sharing the wealth of research, knowledge and skill within the site, with more people. We are very excited for the new partnership and can’t wait to see where things develop. Watch this space for project developments
Our projects focus on restoring and revitalising local landscapes through sustainable land-use practices. Each initiative is a collaboration with communities and experts, aimed at fostering environmental stewardship and creating lasting connections between people and nature.
Weaving Farms, Land, People & Planet
‘Weaving Farms, Land, People & Planet’ is funded by Suffolk & Essex, Coasts & Heath’s branch of Farming in Protected Landscapes; connecting farms, schools, and refugee organisations to foster relationships, improve wellbeing and provide environmental learning opportunities.
Learning From The Land
We are taking our team of diverse experts into local primary schools to help more children connect with and learn from the local landscape.
We will be working with local farmers, growers, ecologists, foragers and artists to share tangible skills and creative ideas, linking land health with thriving futures.
Diverse Communities, Diverse Crops
Uniting rural farms and market gardens with urban diverse communities, celebrating non-native crops for resilient futures, climate safe food systems and connected communities.
